“I have been blessed to have had some amazing experiences in my life. One of them involved an author named Deng Ming-Dao who lived in San Francisco, California. He, in turn, led me to an encounter with a Taoist teacher from China. He was the son of a powerful warlord before WWII. His father gave him over to the Taoist Grand Master of China to study and become a monk—and thus my story begins…”
