​Way served for ten years as a member of the board of directors of the Westar Institute (popularly known as the Jesus Seminar) made up of some 200 New Testament scholars from around the world who study the historical Jesus, Paul, and the beginning centuries of the Christian faith. 

Way was introduced to Eastern philosophy by his grandfather, and has been meditating since the age of 11. He has met, known, been friends with and studied meditation under some of the most famous teachers along the spiritual path including: Muktananda, J. Oliver Black and Bob Raymer (both direct disciples of Paramahansa Yoganandya), and was given Kriya by both of them. He sat on the board of directors for two years at the Ananda Meditation Center in Michigan. He learned Sedona Method Release Technique from Lester Levenson and Hale Dworkin.

For thirty years Way has been talking to biblical scholars, studying the historical Jesus and early Christianity. He launched a nation-wide radio show called an Eye on Faith that aired for 2 years over ABC and 40 other independent stations throughout the US and Canada. The show won the prestigious New York Festival of Arts award as the best religious radio show in the United States, and the third best in the world. On this show he interviewed Christian, Buddhist, Taoist and Jewish scholars, as well as archeologists, spiritual and religious leaders of many faiths. The series, similar to AuthorTalk®, presented a fascinating adventure into spirit and faith. ​

​Over the past 30 years Ronald Way  founded and operated several companies. He is a 2-time award winner of the prestigious Inc 500 award. The Inc 500 award is given to the fastest growing, privately held companies in America. His software and telecom companies ranked as the 60th and 220th fastest growing companies in America.  ​​


​Way is a retired Commander in the US Navy Civil Engineer Corps, having served over 20 years on active and reserve duty. 
 After retiring, he became the founder and chairman of the FallenWarrior.org foundation that aided widows and the families of the soldiers that died in the service of their country since 9/11.​​
